We have halls on all our campuses, within minutes of your classes, and other options that are very nearby – and you’re guaranteed an offer of a place.

We guarantee a place in halls of residence to all eligible students.

To be eligible you'll need to:

  • make Brighton your firm choice of university
  • be starting your first year of full-time study
  • book your university accommodation by the deadline we tell you about.

Please note, Hollingbury House is not managed by the University of Brighton, and should you complete a booking, the contractual relationship remains solely between yourself and Abodus Student Living. Please read any terms and conditions carefully before entering into any contractual agreement. A guarantor is required in order to secure a booking in Hollingbury House; anyone over the age of 18, who is a UK resident, with proof of identity and address can be your guarantor.

When do you move into university halls?

If you’re staying in halls, you'll begin your journey at the University of Brighton by moving into your assigned hall from the start date specified in your accommodation contract.

Expect an email invitation towards the end of August or the beginning of September to book your move-in slot.

If you need to arrange an alternative move-in date, email our accommodation team as soon as possible to discuss your options: accommodation@brighton.ac.uk.

Arriving on your designated day is not just about moving in; it's the start of getting to know your new home and the people you'll be sharing this experience with – it’s an exciting time!
